Karla Dawe's approach is about helping empower her client's to live independent, resilient and successful lives. A safe environment that promotes comfort will help clients feel relaxed while they learn about self. An understanding of emotional pain, mental and physical distress is key to personal recovery and development.

 

Counselling is a way to build rapport with clients to facilitate self-knowledge, emotional acceptance and growth while optimizing personal resources. The aim is to provide an opportunity to work towards living a more satisfying and resourceful life. Karla works with clients in a way that respects client's value, personal resources and capacity for self-determination.

Trained in a variety of client-centered approaches that include narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, family therapy, bereavement therapy, LogosynthesisTM, cognitive behavioural therapy & trauma informed approaches and so much more.

RATES

It is recommended to contact your insurance provider to clarify what professionals are covered under your plan and the number of counselling therapy sessions that are available to you.

Clients can pay for counselling services by cash, credit card or e-transfer before the session begins. There is no direct billing.

 

Counselling Therapy Service fee:

$120 (60 minutes).

​Please remember that a minimum 24 hours notice is required to cancel an appointment. If you wish to cancel an existing appointment, you may do so by e-mail or phone.
